Audio Clips from past conferences
Sample the LDSEHE conference experience!
Now you can get a taste of what our conference and seminar classes are like by listening to a few audio samples from both youth and parent classes. We've selected only a few from our ever-growing cache of classic LDSEHE recordings (soon to be offered in our new online audio store for download purchases!).
As you listen, imagine you're amid dozens of other LDS homeschool families from all over the Eastern US and Canada, thumbing casually through hundreds of books and resources in the vendor hall, asking speakers your own questions, and enjoying the fun and inspirational activities for the whole family each evening. And this year... right on the beach with the ocean breezes... it's going to be another great conference experience that you won't want to miss.

Andrew Paduwa
Teaching Boys and Other Children Who Would Rather Make Forts All Day | ||
|
Children
like to do what they can do; they want to do what they think they can
do, and they hate to do what they think they cannot do. If you want
excited and enthusiastic children who learn well, you must understand
these key laws of motivation, and focus on the essential requirement of
relevancy. If it matters, children will learn it, and if it doesn’t,
they won’t. Andrew Paduwa, director of the Institute for Excellence in Writing and father of 7 homeschooled children is a popular speaker for teachers and homeschool parents across the nation and Canada. In this session he enlightens parents with specific ways to find
and create relevancy for children, even when they have no apparent
interest. | |||
